Memorial Day

We had a really relaxed, laid-back Memorial Day. It was so nice to just kind of enjoy the beautiful day and take it easy. Derek's family came over to enjoy the afternoon with us. It was perfect weather outside, so the boys and I went out to blow bubbles.

They each had to have their own wand and bottle so that they could do it themselves. They are toddlers finding their independence after all.

They got so that they were even actually blowing some bubbles. They really had a good time. But, the fun ended when the bubble solution started running out and they spilled the last bottle fighting over who got to hold it. It was great fun, though, while it lasted!

And we grilled up some delicious steak strips, red peppers, and corn on the cob and just ate yummy food and chilled. Thanks to all those who have and do serve our country so that we can have the freedoms we enjoy! Happy Memorial Day!
